Mite 1 Team Wins Tournament

Congratulations to the Chicago Hawks Mite 1 team for winning the Mite AA Red Championship at the Chicago Pre-Season Challenge tournament. The Hawks went 4-0 during round-robin play, beating two Michigan teams, the Chicago Bruins and the Chicago Blues. In the championship game, the team again faced the Bruins and again came out on top. In the NIHL tiering round, the team is also undefeated. The kids are looking forward to facing their next opponent, the Vikings, on Wednesday evening at Darien. Go Hawks!

Mite 1 Wins Bauer Invitational Tournament

Congratulations to the Chicago Hawks Mite 1 team on winning the Bauer Invitational Tournament! In dramatic fashion, the team won in overtime and beat the Falcons 3-2 in the championship game.
